FAQ's

We don’t like surprises, so to dispel any confusion about our services, below are answers to some common questions. Need to know more? Reach out to us via chat or by email at hello@regentwebdesign.com.

All client websites are built using WordPress, the world’s leading content management system (CMS). We use a light-weight theme and a premium plugin to design the initial layout of your site. If you need a custom feature added to your site that can’t be resolved with a premium plugin we will work up a quote to have that feature developed for your site. For a list of what’s all included in each of our sites, click here.

Our pricing is customized to fit your budget. Fill out our project application and tell us more about what kind of site you’re looking to build. Once we’ve had a chance to review your application we will send over a proposal.

In some cases when a third-party software is required – for example a real estate site requires access to the IDX/MLS service – in which case you would need to purchase a license for the software to make the integration possible. All of these details will be discussed during our discovery call so there are never any surprises. Also, we can initiate the purchase and renewal of your license(s) as needed and invoice you later.

Simple! Fill out our project application and we will contact you to schedule a discovery call to further discuss the details of your new website.

Yes, you’re welcome to use your own hosting. However, we use SiteGround as our preferred web hosting platform.

Generally our design process can take as little as 2 weeks for our much smaller sites and up to 3 months for larger sites, and perhaps longer for e-commerce sites. A site that requires more customization could take a little longer.

In most cases, yes, we can build a site for you using a pre-purchased theme and plugins. However, we do reserve the right to decline a project if the theme or plugin is not regularly updated and supported. Our initial setup fee would also apply including a subscription to one of our maintenance plans.

Yes you can! But before we do we like to take a look around to check the current condition of your site and suggest any repairs, redesigns, etc. We do reserve the right to deny a transfer, but in most cases we can make it happen. Once your website is transferred over to us we would set you up with a subscription to one of our maintenance plans.

Absolutely! We can build an eCommerce site with either WooCommerce or Shopify

We typically try to eliminate the possibility of you being dissatisfied with the end result by taking you through the mock-up design process and having you review and approve the design before we begin development. However, in the event you’re still not satisfied with the end result we will do our best to make things right by you.
